JMS Pro Hardware Requirements

Technical specification

To get the most out of JMS you will require an internet connection with at least 8Mbps download speed.

Joinerysoft will provide and ship the JMS Server to all UK customers. Overseas customers will need to purchase the Server themselves, to the specification below, as a minimum.

We require that all customers with a JMS Server MUST buy a UPS to plug into the JMS Server to keep run time on the server up, when mains power fails.

We recommend: APC Back-UPS 950VA, as it comes with PowerChute software which ensures the server is powered down correctly before the UPS power dies. If the APC Back-UPS 950VA is purchased, then Joinerysoft can preinstall the PowerChute software before delivery of the JMS Server.

*Apple computers and operating systems can be used but must have Parallels Desktop software installed on them along with a copy of Windows OS recommended above.

**Computers can use any type of hard drive, either Solid State Drive (SSD) or Hard Disk Drive (HDD).

All computers should have at least one spare USB port available. To print from our software, you will need any printer that has the capability to print A4 paper.
