Due to expansion Joinerysoft has a vacancy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our customer support team.
You will be responsible for conducting software training sessions to our end-user customers both online and in person. This role is a full-time, hybrid role as when you are not out training at premises, you would be required to attend our office in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire 2 or 3 days a week, particularly during your training period. You could chose to work from our office full time if you so wished.
Joinerysoft is a leading supplier of software to the bespoke timber joinery market. Based in the UK we provide support to over 800 joinery manufacturers who use our software throughout the world. Our continuous development policy means that we are constantly improving our software based upon customer feedback. Our software is designed to be easy to use and based upon joinery terminology.
This is a varied role supporting both customers and internal staff which will provide satisfaction to someone who enjoys helping, speaking to people and solving problems and has and interest in technology and strong computing skills.
This role can be split into 4 main areas;
Each of these roles is described in more detail below:
Install/configure software for new Joinerysoft customers
This role will involve visiting customers at their premises to install and configure their Joinerysoft software, if not done remotely. This will involve training customers in how to use their software using established training materials. Full training on the use of Joinerysoft’s software will be provided, including shadowing Joinerysoft’s experienced installation team. The role will occasionally involve staying away for one to two nights at a time and sometimes working hours to suit our overseas customers.
Provide technical support to existing Joinerysoft customers
As part of the support team, the role will provide telephone and email support to Joinerysoft’s 800+ customer base. Using remote login software you will be required to demonstrate how to use Joinerysoft’s software on customer's’ own computers remotely to answer their questions.
Provide training workshops on software to internal staff and Joinerysoft customers
The role will involve delivering courses to a set programme and also assist our other trainers in developing new courses. The role will also involve training internal staff to expand knowledge of software and joinery terminology.
Provide technical joinery knowledge to the development team to assist with future development of Joinerysoft products
This role will involve working with the Joinerysoft development team to explain joinery methods and provide joinery knowledge to help write joinery specifications for new software.
