We wanted to notify you as a Welsh joinery workshop that the Welsh Government have bought out "Economic Resilience Fund Business Development Grants” - two different grants for two different sized companies up to 50 employees and up to £150,000!
The purpose of this fund is to support recovery by allowing businesses to make a positive change to improve sustainability and foundations as they continue their recovery process as a result of Covid -19.
It is important to realise that this is separate to the COVID support already given and even if you’ve had stage 1 or 2 of this grant scheme you can still apply for stage 3!
Below we give you a little information and then the PDF's from the Welsh Government for each so you can go out there and get these to help your business. Part of that might be to purchase JMS.
You employ at least 1 person (they have to be employed for at least 30hrs a week)
You employ people using PAYE
Your business is either registered with Companies House or the charities commission with a turnover of £50k or more or you are VAT Registered/Sector Exempt from VAT with a turnover of £85k or more
Your business operating address is in Wales and has employees in Wales
Supporting the costs of your staff and operation to work on the future development of your business
Investing in the digital capability of your business
Investing in new processes or systems
Investing in equipment
Investing in the skills and capabilities of your staff
Investing in improvements to facilities
This grant funding is for revenue expenditure. This means that expenditure which appears in your Profit & Loss Account for the period and not your Balance Sheet is eligible. You can use capital expenditure (which would appear on the balance sheet) as your match funding.
