JMS Hardware Requirements

Below are the minimum requirements to run JMS 2D. These are minimum requirements and it is never a bad thing to go over and above to future proof machines going forwards.

To get the most out of JMS you will require an internet connection with at least 8Mbps download speed and a Microsoft Windows Operating System.

JMS 2D Minimum Hardware Requirements (Desktop or Laptop)

This is the machine that you will use on a day to day basis. On a network version of JMS 2D this needs to be connected to an office network where it can see the JMS 2D Server.

*Apple computers and operating systems can be used but Joinerysoft requires a virtual Windows operating system

to be run, such as Parallels Desktop software along with a copy of Windows OS recommended above

All computers should have at least two spare USB ports available.

To print from our software, you will need any printer that has the capability to print A4 paper.

JMS Server Specifications (Not Pro)**

This machine is usually purchased and supplied to by Joinerysoft, this allows for configuration to be done by us prior, in order to make sure it runs at the best performance for you.

This is the requirements for the server box if you have/want JMS on a network, the other PC's like the ones you use every day (clients) then connect to this and you use the JMS software through these.

This does not include JMS Pro.

*** If you are likely to upgrade to JMS-Pro in the foreseeable future then we would recommend that you purchase a JMS server with JMS-Pro specification.
